Grab a spray bottle. Mix 2 parts of rubbing alcohol with 1 part room-temp water. Spray the solution onto your windows. This solution is safe for your car, so you can use liberally. If you want, you can also add a few drops of dish soap. This lowers the freezing point of water. Another way is to de-ice your windshield is to mix 1 tablespoon of salt with 2 cups of water. Normal table salt is fine if the temperature is above freezing. But if it’s below freezing, then road salt is more effective because it has a Page 1 of 5 different chemical composition. Use sparingly since heavy salt exposure can damage the car.
